Our History

America's 1st Realty , one of Greensboro's most progressive offices, formerly Urban Corporation, was founded in 1986.  The company began with Mr. Don Croom, the company's owner and broker, who then built his first new construction property and formed Urban South, a custom construction endeavor.  This led him to develop a philosophy of doing what is good  for the customer and giving agents an oppportunity to be financially independent through real estate sales.  He believes that what you learn from others you then, in turn, teach and help others in the path to home ownership. Our customers have and will always be our most important asset, therefore our promise to them is the quality of service they need and deserve.
